Are we listening?
Isn’t it amazing how God speaks to us in ways that are individual to us and speaks specifically into our own situations? The Magi from the East in the Christmas Story were astrologers who were studying the stars and sky at night. God spoke to them through a star and led them through a star to Jesus lying in a manger. Jesus in his earthly ministry spoke to fishermen using a great catch of fish and to ordinary people using stories about family, work and everyday life. Be ready and looking this Christmas for Jesus to speak to you. God spoke to the wise men using a star. He will be speaking to you in ways that relate to your personality and circumstances.
The only question is – are we listening?
