October Update

If you missed the preach from Vision Sunday last month do make time to listen to it here or on iTunes. These are exciting times to be at Hope Church and exciting times to be living in East London. “For such a time as this” – we have a unique opportunity with the Olympics next year to surf the wave of all that God is going to do. John-Martyn will be giving a year to serve and work for the Church which is a wonderful step of faith. John will be involved in many things in the life of the Church including worship, Uth, writing, exploring the possibility of setting up a language school, admin and other opportunities. Do pray for John and encourage him in all that he is doing.

God has given us a message of grace and freedom to proclaim and we have just started our new preaching series looking at Paul’s letter to the Galatians entitled “Be Free.” It is vital we understand that it is not about what we do but what Jesus has done for us on the cross. Jesus came to set us free and as Christians we are to live in the light of that truth! God uses each one of you just the way you are to serve the Church and to play your part in seeing God accomplish great things for His glory.

On Sunday 23^rd October Tope Koleoso from Jubilee Church London will be coming to preach at Hope Church. Tope is the lead elder of Jubilee Church – a large, diverse and growing Newfrontiers Church in Enfield, North London. Tope oversees Hope Church on behalf of Newfrontiers and is a godly, gifted and wonderful man of God. We are very privileged to have him come and preach and I would really encourage you to make it a priority to be there and receive from the message Tope has for us as a Church. Do invite friends and family and others looking in to become part of the Church as it will be a Sunday not to be missed!

I thank God for each of you – the way you serve and bring so much to the Church.

You are all wonderful gifts from God.
